Dr. Andrew Bullis

Dr. Andrew Bullis grew up in Saratoga Springs, New York. Growing up he had a love for science and nature and spent much of his time in sports and outside in the Adirondack Park. Dr. Bullis discovered he wanted to be a vet as an undergrad student at Connecticut College studying biochemistry. “ I was drawn to the field out of a fascination in the logic and effort it took to diagnose an animal with a disease.” Soon after, he began working as a technician at an equine hospital and on a local dairy farm as a calf manager. “ The science of vet med drew me in, but what got me hooked and keeps me going even now is the relationships you build with clients and your local community. Veterinarians can have such an impact on a local area and that really is what I am most passionate about.”

Dr. Bullis attended the University of Illinois school of Veterinary medicine focusing on large animal medicine. After school he worked in Shippensburg, PA seeing both large and small animals. His professional interests include sustainable large animal preventative medicine, small animal surgery and small animal reproduction. He loves to read, exercise, travel and learn new things. He lives in East Berlin with his two dogs, four cats, four goats, one horse, seventeen chickens and one guinea pig.

Dr. Bullis will be seeing small companion animals and large animals for farm/house call visits.
