Fear Free
We are proud to be one of the few hospitals in the area with an entire staff of Fear Free Certified professionals. Fear Free is a growing movement within the veterinary community to prioritize the emotional well being of pets during their visit. This is important for various reasons. First, we deeply care for your pet, and want them to always feel safe and happy. More than that, heightened stress levels actually alter a pet’s physiology – the same systems that veterinary professionals rely upon to assess their health. Stress levels can make veterinary professionals believe there is a health problem when really it is just a stress response, or worse, mask a real problem. This is why our staff has gone through special training in how we care for dogs and cats. Because you and your pet deserve the best.
